Try On's

How long will you reserve my garment after my try-on?

Once you have tried on your garments, you will have 24 hours to confirm your selected garment.

How many garments can I try on during my appointment?

Browse our try-on options and choose an appointment type that suits you based on the number of garments you would like to try.

Unfortunately, we are unable to allow more garments in your change room than the amount included in your booking

If you are unsure which garments you would like to try on, we offer a Browse Appointment, where you can try on as many garments as you like within the duration of your booking.

How many change rooms do you have?

We have two change rooms available. We value an intimate setting so you can enjoy your appointment without feeling cramped, watched, or rushed.

Can I have a joint try-on appointment with a friend?

Yes! You will both need to book one change room each, with the same start time and duration.

How many people can I bring to my appointment?

We allow one guest per booking.

Do you recommend bringing shoes?

We have heels available in the change rooms for you to wear during your try-on.

If you have a particular pair at home that you would like to match with your garment, you are welcome to bring them along.

Garment Hire

How long is the rental period?

We offer a 4-day rental period.

When can I pick up my garment?

Pick-up is available 1–2 days before your event date.

When will my item be posted?

We usually ship garments Monday and Tuesday, depending on the delivery location and when the garment has returned from cleaning.

Do you offer Uber Parcel?

Yes! We offer Uber Parcel delivery for same-day hires (if the garment is available).

This service is at the client’s expense, and pricing varies depending on the date and location.

Uber Parcel hires can only be arranged via Instagram DM.

Cancellation Policy

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled rental date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled rental date are not eligible for a refund.

Postage

When will my item be posted?

We usually ship garments the Friday prior, Monday and Tuesday (weekend hire), depending on the delivery location and when the garment has returned from cleaning.

How much is postage?

We offer $30 express postage, which includes:

- Tracked express postage (both ways)

- A reusable post bag

- A prepaid return label for your garment

GK.Drobe is not responsible for delays or issues caused by the shipping carrier. We ship garments at the earliest convenience, and once they have been lodged at the post office, delivery is handled by the shipping carrier.

Location

Where are you located?

We have a gorgeous, intimate studio located in Cheltenham.

You will receive the exact address when you make a booking.

Is the try on location the same as the return location?

No, the return location is a different location. This address is around the corner from our studio and will be provided alongside your garment hire.

Cleaning

Do I need to clean the garment before returning it?

No, cleaning is included in your rental price.

Please do not wash or dry clean the garment yourself, as this can damage delicate fabrics.

We simply ask that you take care of the garment and return it in the condition it was received.

Damaged Hires

We understand that minor wear can happen during events. However, significant damage to a garment may incur a repair or replacement fee.

If damage occurs, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the situation.

GK.Drobe takes imagery of every dress sent out/picked up and these images will be send to you post payment. 

Any damages or stains will result in additional charges, as determined by GK.Drobe. If the dress is permanently stained or ripped due to damage cause by you, the full RRP will be charged. 

If dry cleaning is required due to stains, this will be charged to you. 

Returns

The rental period begins on the date you receive your garment and ends on the date the garment is scheduled to be returned, as specified in your order. 

All standard Thursday-Sunday hires must be returned by Monday at the return location. 

Weekday hires are to be returned the next business day by 1pm at the return location. 

Standard Thursday-Sunday postage hires are to be handed into the post office Monday by 1pm. 

Weekday postage hires are to be returned to the post office next business day by 1pm.

Pieces must be returned in the GK.Drobe garment bag, by the agreed apon return date. If the GK.Drobe garment bag or hanger is not returned, a $20 fee will be charged.
